This piece was made using second-hand puffer jackets, sourced in collaboration with Tribe Vintage. It’s about taking something made for one purpose and reworking it into something else, without losing its character.
The materials already carry a history, so the process is more about responding to what’s there rather than forcing a new idea onto it. Letting the structure, stitching and weight of the jackets guide the outcome.
I worked on this with designer Harri Dunn, bringing together our approaches to make something that feels considered but still straightforward in how it’s made and used.
